Rockstar Games published a new GTA 6 launch gallery on its official website on Thursday, November 5, 2026, adding 37 screenshots of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida exactly two weeks before “Grand Theft Auto VI” arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19. The set shows two venues fans hadn’t seen before, a strip club called the Jack of Hearts and a live music bar called The Rusty Anchor, along with scuba diving and fresh shots of the game’s two leads, Jason and Lucia.

Rockstar marked the drop with a short message, “Grand Theft Auto 6 is now officially only two weeks away”, and the timing lines up with the final run-in for players in Nigeria. Digital pre-loads open on Tuesday, November 10, so anyone planning to play at launch has a few days left to clear storage and line up the data for a download Rockstar puts at up to 212GB.

Vice City’s nightlife finally gets names and faces

Rockstar says the new images are meant to show off Vice City and the world beyond it, and the nightlife gets a lot of attention. The Jack of Hearts and The Rusty Anchor are the headline additions, and The Rusty Anchor looks like a place where you can stop and watch live gigs rather than just a backdrop you drive past. Jason and Lucia appear across many of the shots, while other characters show up only briefly and aren’t named.

The scuba diving shots point to activity out on the water as well as on the streets, though Rockstar hasn’t said how deep that side of the game goes or whether diving is tied to missions. The gallery page itself keeps the words to a minimum, inviting players to “explore Vice City and beyond through new screenshots” and signing off with “See you in Leonida on November 19.”

Parents buying this one for the house should read the label

A strip club in the promotional images is a reminder of what kind of game this is. The content descriptors Rockstar lists on the same page include blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content and the use of drugs and alcohol, along with in-game purchases. In plenty of Nigerian homes the PS5 sits in the living room and gets shared with younger siblings, so a console’s parental controls are worth setting up before November 19 rather than after.

On PlayStation 5, family settings let a parent restrict games by age rating and limit spending from the account, and Xbox offers the same through its family settings. The in-game purchases note matters as much as the rating, since a saved card on a shared console can be used by anyone who picks up the controller.

Two weeks out, the download is the bigger job

Rockstar’s site carries a “Plays best on PlayStation 5” badge, but the game lands on Xbox Series X|S on the same day, and there’s still no PC version announced. Digital buyers on PS5 can start pre-loading from midnight local time on November 10, while Xbox opens at a single global time of 12am GMT, which is 1am in Nigeria. NaijaGamer has the full timings and storage advice in its report on the 212GB pre-load opening on November 10.

If you still haven’t bought a copy, our breakdown of GTA 6’s price, pre-orders and the no-disc box covers the editions on sale. The full set of new screenshots sits on Rockstar’s official launch gallery, and it’s worth a look on Wi-Fi rather than mobile data, because high-resolution images add up quickly when you’re saving every megabyte for a 212GB download.
