Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive goes live on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at 4pm Pacific time on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, which is 1am on Wednesday, November 4 in Nigeria. Netmarble confirmed the console date in an October 28 announcement, a year after the action RPG first arrived on PC, and the Standard Edition costs $39.99 while the Deluxe Edition costs $44.99.

For Nigerian fans of the webtoon and the anime, this is the first time the game can be played on a PlayStation, and the first time Xbox owners get it on console rather than through a gaming PC. Store pages for both versions are already live, so anyone planning a late-night session on Tuesday can buy ahead and have the download sitting on the console when the clock passes midnight.

You play Sung Jinwoo from E-Rank to Monarch of Shadows

The game follows Sung Jinwoo’s rise from a weak E-Rank hunter to the Monarch of Shadows, and Netmarble says it adds original story content and game-exclusive chapters on top of the webtoon’s plot. According to the official Xbox store listing, combat is built around weapon choice, skill combos, parries and a dodge move called Extreme Evasion, while a skill tree with eight job advancements lets you shape how Jinwoo fights.

The Monarch Awakening system is where the shadow powers from the series come in, and the listing also mentions weapon crafting from monster drops, including weapons taken straight from the webtoon. Raids against Commanders support up to four players in co-op, which is the part most likely to pull friends together on the same console family.

What the extra $5 on the Deluxe Edition actually buys

Netmarble’s announcement says the Deluxe Edition adds a costume exclusive to Sung Jinwoo, a Cha Hae-In emoji set and “a selection of additional items” it didn’t list in full. None of that changes the story or the raids, so the Standard Edition gives you the whole game. Xbox also sells a $9.99 Deluxe Upgrade for anyone who buys Standard first and changes their mind later, and the Xbox listing notes that the game includes in-game purchases.

Those prices are in US dollars on the stores, so what you pay in naira depends on the rate your bank or card provider applies to the transaction, plus any charges it adds for foreign payments. Checking that rate before you confirm a purchase avoids an unpleasant surprise on your statement, especially if you’re choosing between the two editions.

Xbox players need Game Pass for online raids

The Xbox store page lists cross-platform multiplayer with PC and handheld players, along with single-player and shared or split-screen play. It also states that online multiplayer on console requires Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate, which is sold separately, so a solo story run costs nothing extra but four-player raids with friends online do. The game is rated ESRB Teen for violence, blood, suggestive themes and use of alcohol.

Neither the Xbox listing nor Netmarble’s announcement gives a download size for the console versions. If you’re on a capped mobile data plan, buy the game on Tuesday and let it download overnight on Wi-Fi or a night bundle, since November is already crowded with big downloads, with GTA 6 pre-loading from November 12 and other heavy releases such as Phantom Blade Zero still fresh on many hard drives.

PlayStation players can find the game on the PlayStation Store, and Netmarble’s official Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive site carries news and updates. If you’ve followed Jinwoo since the webtoon and waited for a console version, Standard Edition is the sensible starting point, and the Deluxe Upgrade stays available if the costume starts to tempt you after a few raids.
